Sealcoating

What is Sealcoating?

Sealcoating involves applying a high polymer coating to asphalt pavement in order to protect it from water, oil and gas spills, salt stains, and other damaging elements. This sealant also protects your pavement from cracks and potholes that would damage the asphalt underneath, which in turn could lead to costly repairs.

Studies show that a sealcoated asphalt pavement is 90% less likely to crack than an unsealed surface. Therefore, sealcoating your asphalt every 2 – 3 years (minimum of 6 months after installation) is necessary to keep the pavement in top condition and prevent it from premature deterioration.

Black And Yellow Pavement Inc.’s Sealcoating Process

Black And Yellow Pavement Inc. offers sealcoating services for all types of pavement, including commercial parking lots and other high-volume traffic areas!

We use the most durable sealers, and our experienced team and state-of-the-art equipment ensures that the work done is of the highest quality. Our expert technicians mix 4 lbs. of silica sand per gallon of sealer – Polymer-Modified Refined Tar – to increase durability and build a skid-resistant surface.

We recommend two coats of sealcoating and sometimes three, depending on your area’s traffic volume and other factors. With our solutions, your asphalt pavement is guaranteed to stay in excellent condition for years to come. Get a free quote now!
